Good Bright(on) day

Went to Brighton beach today & I guess it was the right day to head over to the beach! Though it was drizzling slightly in the morning, the clouds cleared up just in time as we arrived in the City of Bayside. We spent about 3 hours taking pictures of the beach & of ourselves (shameless much?). However, we were slightly overdressed. Jeans + Long sleeve shirts? Who cares. We still had fun because the weather was really being too kind by providing us with lots of sunshine to snap some shots.

There, I kinda took lots of random people on the beach: children, adults, animals and even Burlesque girls. I also shamelessly asked a family of 3 if I could have a photo of them sitting under a coloured house of their choice (okay, they were already sitting down so all I had to do was ask them nicely, haha)

Here are some shots that I really love from today's adventure. I love how people take things easily by spending some quality time between the beach and themselves. Just like this man in the last shot, he was just sitting on the soft, warm sand reading a book, at the same time, admiring the beautiful landscape (FILLED WITH SEAGULLS). Maybe we should learn to take life easy like these Aussies as well. Learning to appreciate Mother Nature is such a beautiful art. She has much to offer but because of our busy schedules, we often miss these moments and take such simple pleasures for granted.

I'm thankful for today's trip. Lots of quality time with the family again.

(Did I mention seagulls were my favourite type of bird? Teehee. They're really cute. Hence, the caps on SEAGULLS.)

Catch you guys later :-)

PS: Happy 20th post! A small milestone achieved :-)
